I’m Garv, a student at NAIT currently in my 3rd semester of the diploma in Business Administration -Accounting. Currently I am international peer mentor and event coordinator with Indian Fusion Cultural Club , allowing me to connect with students and understand their needs. As a student at NAIT, I have volunteered on campus for over 160 hours at various events with different departments, including NAIT International, Well-being, and Student Orientation.
Why me?
- Bylaw and Budget Oversight: As an accounting student, I have the skills and knowledge to carefully review and analyze the budget, ensuring that NAITSA’s financial decisions benefit all students and align with your best interests.
- Ensuring Accountability of the Executive Council: I will actively hold the Executive Council responsible for their decisions and actions, aiming to create an environment where transparency and fairness lead to meaningful improvements in student life.
- Providing an Unbiased Voice: I will voice the rights, needs, and concerns of all students fairly and without bias.
My dedication is to advocate for your interests with integrity and fairness because I care for you. By holding the Executive Council accountable, we can ensure they prioritize initiatives that truly enhance our student experience.
