Hello fellow NAIT students!

My name is Ujwal Modgill, and I’m a second-year Business Administration accounting student at NAIT. I’m running as a candidate in the upcoming Senate election for the 2024/25 term.

I’m 20 years old and proudly from Punjab, India, a region known for its vibrant culture and diversity. As an outgoing person, I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, which helps me expand my perspective and grow as an individual.

In this role, I will help approve NAITSA’s annual budget, pass bylaws, and ensure the executive council is held accountable. This aligns perfectly with my skills as an accounting student, offering me the chance to contribute to meaningful decisions that impact both NAIT students and the organization.

I’m committed to making sure the decisions we make are informed and serve the best interests of the NAITSA community.
