I’m Juveria Anjum, a second-year international student studying lab research and biotechnology. During my time at NAIT, I’ve actively volunteered and connected with many of you, which has inspired me to run for the NAITSA Senate.

As an international student, I’ve experienced the challenges of adapting to a new environment, and it has strengthened my belief in the importance of diversity and inclusion. I’ve seen firsthand the value of building a supportive community where everyone’s voice is heard and respected.

As part of the NAITSA Senate, I will play a crucial role in approving bylaws, overseeing representation, and ensuring the annual budget is managed responsibly. I am committed to fulfilling these responsibilities with dedication and ensuring student interests are prioritized in decision-making.

My experiences working closely with students, faculty, and staff have given me a deep understanding of our community’s diverse needs. I’m passionate about contributing to the growth of our campus community, and I’m always open to hearing your ideas and concerns.
